The closest thing to a perfect performance I have ever seen in person wasn't in a SchH trial. It was the short koerung-style protection phase in the USA S/Show in San Jose last spring, Ravi Iver and his excellent dog. Too bad they don't hand out numerical scores for those performances.
Next closest was in obedience, (on tape) Franz Gugnon with Jasko vom Stahlburg in the BSP. Can't remember the year. Was it '88 or '89? I wore out my carpet in front of the TV trying to emmulate Franz's about turns.

So at times when any of my dogs should have gotten more I take it and at times they got more then I thought they should I take that too on the end it evens out . I compete against myself if a given dog was prior thought of not getting more then a 90 and then gets a honest 91- 95 I call that an achievement ! My current competition dog flunked the track in germany sold to me and he had mayor avoidance problems in the track ( due to human error ) I saw the natrual instinct in this dog and bought him. Never regretted it he has done well and his last track was scored at 100 points I had him at 97-98 :) I don't want to sound like I am disgracing my own dog but I say what I see and the judge judged him to a perfect score . My sport friends also did not think the dog got a gift . well I guess I am a stickler :)
Points are just points some 80 point dogs are of better character then those scoring high in the 90's then on the flipside some that do score high are a high quality dog it is all about the evaluation of the dogs character not the points in the book :)

Rosso was also trialed in 2008 at the FCI Championship with a, more or less, novice handler and still finished in about fifth or sixth. The only dogs that beat him were Malinois with much, much better handlers.
There are videos on you tube or some other sites from 2007 WUSV.

I myself obtained a 100 point obedience at a Sch 3. I would have scored it a 99 for the crooked sit in front on the recall.
