Kelly M Shaw

oh okay, I didn't go back that far.

Most of the dogs you mention are long dead, so finding anyone with first hand knowledge or siblings might prove difficult. :) May I suggest joining the GSD -Euro list, on yahoo groups, for specific traits these dogs are known for, along with what they were known to produce.

You can also try just doing a google search for the kennels names alone instead of the entire dog's name.

Your dog is not Czech OR East German. What made you think that?

In the 5th generation Gimmy vom Haus Larwin is part East German on the top half of his pedigree. But I mainly see west working lines. I did not see any Czech lines at all.

Thanks for those that tried to help!!! I was just guessing on the lineage as someone looked and said that's what he was. I called his breeder and she said he was mainly West german working lines with some DDR and East German WAY back there.

Thanks Kandi- I started googling the kennel names and got more results.

I appreciate the help.
