Seeing that "After" photo so warmed my heart.  You're right, the first photo is a horror and extremely upsetting, but I will hold that After photo in my mind.  To think of that poor sad dog lying there, and what he must have thought of human beings, as he lay in that condition while his owner was fat and healthy - absolutely heartbreaking.  But then to see him now! and to know that all the people at the hospital fed him and loved him and allowed him to believe in people again....oh, my.....so glad he is a Tough GSD!

I'd like to put that fatass in a cage and starve her and throw flesh-eating bugs on her!!  May she rot in hell!

Sad, so very, very, pitifully sad.  What a heartbreaking image for sure.

What amazes me is how so many of society today believe that animals are an extension of your property and believe they are allowed to do with them what they want.  These people act as though you are insulting them when they are arrested or attacked (verbally or otherwise) for abuse to an animal.

I know a young lady here in Virginia whose Rottweiller died at the end of a chain in the back yard.  When she was confronted by Animal Control, and told that she would be doing 3 months jail time (yes, I know...what an easy ride), she was said to have commented "what? for a dog!??".  These are the same people that time and time again, will continue to purchase/acquire animals for their sick ways.  Who knows why?  I guess for lawn ornaments and yet, they starve, beat, scream at, alienate and leave for dead the same time and time again.

Tigers don't change their stripes... they should never be allowed to own another animal again...ever.

No other specie of animal is as cruel and throughtless as us humans.   Sometimes it's hard to believe that we're part of humanity...with all that goes on.    I truly just don't get it.
