Well in my humble opinion..you couldn't give her to me. She doesn't conform to the standard close enough I believe to ever be bred...no matter how good her working ability was. Again JMHO

As a working dog if she did her job then no problem. But when it reads breeding then that is where I too have a problem with breeding her. You would have to breed out too much and it would take too long to be worth it. Again I am in to working dogs and still see problems with her structure.

sorry, but i have to agree with molly on this one. this female would not be a candidate for breeding. if she truly has other redeeming qualities, then enjoy her for those, but that does not mean she should be bred.

I don't think any resp. breeder would breed her, can she work? sure that's nice but structure is just as important, if it would be me I would look for something better, but like I said I would not mind owning her, she reminds me the old look of a GSD sure not perfect but I don't find her ugly at all.

Ummm, no one has even asked to see the pedigree? Perhaps her ear is damaged not soft. Her head is a bit small but she is holding it a a funny angle, her legs look terrific, body is a bit stretched, she looks like a smaller bitch not perportioned perfectly but I have seen far worse bitches as a the star of breeding programs. Maybe she produces better than herself? Not what I'd be looking for up front but she might surprise you in the end.

Where did you drag up this picture?
No I don't think she looks good.
No I would not breed to her.

I,m really shocked that all the show line folks haven't jumped all over this pic, but thats all it is is a pic any one who would make a breeding choose from a pic is either a idiot or dumb as a stump. What are the dogs lines, training, has she had puppies how did they turn out I,ve seen some ugly dogs make some very talented dogs with drive and structure. But in the long run I,d take this dog over a roach backed, heavy headed, ass squatted,no expression show line dog in a heart beat.

Not near enough information.

hahaha! some pretty good responses.
I posted her picture from "females for sale" section in ads on this database. You can see her sire and dam there, I think.
I didn't think her ear was such a big deal; I think her neck is weird, so long compared to her body. But, truthfully, I just wanted to know what working line people thought of her. I thought her legs looked pretty decent too....just thought her head and neck looked really weird on that body. I am not that great at recogizing the flaws, but have been studying structure a lot these last few months. (showline). I also want a dog who has athletic ability andcourage and smarts, so some minor flaws don't bother me. I know that my young male has a tail set that's too high...oh well. He's such an athlete and very handsome; I don't care about that.
