Good one Shelley! I Love them bred this way. As well I like breeding a Sable male with a Red/Black female. So far ALL have turned out with great pigment,

Thank you all for your wonderful compliments on my girl-I truly feel anyone thinking a show/working combo doesn't work should consider her before saying its a 'mistake'. This girl is power personified, too-strong as an ox, will get into ANYthing, and yes, has a wonderful spirit about herself that truly shines. I am very fortunate to have her. She's my Buszke ("Beska"). She's line-bred on Fero, and is a Larus Batu granddaughter. She's got a 2007-VA2 VK3 blk/red show father and a solid black V4 SchH, FH, AD, IP titled working mother (also has Chuna Policia, Nick, Jack Blender See lines!).

I just combined Fero Zeutener Himmelreich,/ Mink vom Haus Wittfeld, lines with Lasso vom Neuen Bergh and some other SHow lines with a touch of DDR....expecting some exciting results

I think Preston posted a stunning bi color male who had work/show background a few months ago. Would love to find that link again.
My first GSD was a Fedor Arminius linebred male who was also a Yoschy Dollenweise grandson. Hell of a tough dog, and not bad looking, either!

Best wishes with that breeding, Shirehund-I hope you get everything you expect plus a little more from it. Sure sounds interesting!

Thank you Katjo74. I see old Czech line strength in your awsome female! very powerful look with great color.

Nice looking gal, katjo74. My opinion is the workingblood does alot for the appearance of showlines as well.

So there is a fix in the mix,i knew it !!

Thank you all. This is actually the first GSD with Czech blood I've ever owned (I have her 'neice', which is a solid black full working lines girl-also tough as nails and rotten!). I must say, I like it! (I'm a WGR show line person!!)
She is definitely a tough, outgoing girl (not for the inexperienced or novice), but not so overly so that she can't be enjoyed.
Well, I don't personally like a 'weak' looking female. I can tolerate females being a little masculine looking FAR more than feminine males. And the weak drive issues we have with the full WGR show lines (not all-some) are nonexistent with this type combo from what I am personally seeing. She's got enough high-end show lines to have nice overall conformation and will hopefully be able to get a decent conformation rating this coming year (2009), but also enough spitfire to harness and train. And there's nothing weak about her-she's solid, strong, lively, and just a very nice girl. Anyone who comes here to visit falls in love with her. Seeing her in person, she is mistaken for a male.

While a bit too masculine for me, I'll admit I'm with you in taking a doggy bitch over a bitchy dog, and I can "forgive" that one thing since she's bloody well gorgeous xD
I can has puppy please? LOL
