If the testicle is there then it is there, and in my opinion needs nothing more, I also had a pup and could feel his testicle from a young age, but was not in the sack. By the time he was six months old I sold him, only to see him a month or two later and the testicle was there. My vet advised to let nature be nature. Hope that helps.
