Hope she finds a good home.

Just curious, was this the dog's orginal name? Do you have her whelp date?
Do you have any information on the owner?
Did they surrender the dog to your friend or to a shelter? What state did her original owner live in?
I was thinking that maybe I've seen this dog before, and would know about her background, but without any additional info, it's hard to know for sure.
How is her ball drive?
Do you know anything else about her original owner?

Bella was an owner turn in at the Leavenworth Kansas pound. An all breed rescue then pulled her. The lady that pulled her (I did not) said the owner that turned her in was a police officer. However, the police officer was not her first home. She was at one other home before this. The reasons for being turned in the first time are unknown. All I know about the police officer is that he had said she "screamed to much when she did not get her way." I am in no way passing judgement on this person, but this is the only quote I have from why she was turned in the second time.
I guess I could find out what her name was when she came into the pound, but do not know if it would help much as this was her second home. I do not know if it is known from the rescue where she "originally" came from. I suspect her age (2years old) is accurate as this info probably was passed on from owner to owner.
I am told she is not interested in balls...but I have seen some dogs that their ball drive is low until they actually get taught how to play with balls and toys ( I have one of those dogs!), so it could be cicumstance or not. But, no, right now she is not interested. She has good food drive and also I am told she is an easy to teach/willing learner. She is also described as confident.
Are you from the KS/MO area? Any info would help greatly! thanks

Does anyone from the Kansas City or outlying KS/MO area have any contacts they could crosspost Bella with?
Thanks!

Hi
Bella is still looking for a great home. Her adoption fee is $0, the rescue is willing to "eat" the cost of feeding/vetting/boarding for the past 2 months as long as she finds a great home. Her free T4 came back low, so she is also on thyroid meds.
Thanks for any help

Kelso1 I sent you a PM. Bella looks remarkably like a pup I sold to Florida. Please check the right ear for a tattoo. Kansas is a long way from Florida, but stranger things have happened.

Hi .Is she tattooed ,? I sold a puppy to someone in NC about 2 years ago and he was training her for protection and suddenly lost contact and all my emailed returned back .

Her foster has checked for a tattoo on the ear...there is not one that she has seen inspecting the ear?
I do not think she has checked her inner thigh..???
I don't know...I have had several people ask if she has a tattoo and she appears to not have one...is there any chance it could have faded beyond recognition?
Bella is really really urgent. She needs a home now. I do not have her, just working with a rescue on her so I do not make the decisions but want to reiterate that she is indeed urgent.
Any help? Is there anyway I can change the title on the forum to include location so maybe more people in the area will take a look.
Thank you.
