Yes, she is a beautiful dog. I favor solid blacks too.
The odds of producing blacks:
black x black = 100% black
black x carrier = 50% black, 50% carrier
carrier x carrier =25% black, 50% carriers, 25% will not carry the gene
Since dogs don't have 100 puppies in one litter (or from multiple breedings of the same parents), these odd often do not work out exaclty as expected. It's like tossing a coin 100 times, odds are that 50 times you will get heads, 50% tails, but the first 10, 15 tosses could be all heads or all tails. Ain't dog breeding fun?

Thanks Silbersee, the man that owns Nova has sent me at least close to 50 pictures of her
one just as beautiful as the next.
Blitzen, I actually talked the man into getting the all black pup at the time, cause
I was wanting to keep her,
I fiqured I'd
get one just like her in the future, after seeing her grow, now>>>>I want one!!!
Here's just one more......
Can't take it, she's so beautiful......

I have had a litter of 5 with 4 being black.
I have had a litter of 8 with one black.
I love the blacks too...but my ultimate favorite is bi-color.....

My girls granddam is out of two great champions both dark bi-colors, almost solid black with just some tan at the feet. I was told that the degree of dominance goes: sable, B&T, bi-color, then solid black. I think that my girl may or may not be a carrier for bi-color since her sire is a B&T without bi-color in recent pedigree.
Dark bi-colors and solid blacks generally have coat that is quite rich in pigment and full of luster. This is great. But somehow I like a face that has colors and better features and expression.
I think about a nice bi-color champ as the stud but finally chose a B&T. There is no bi-color in the recent pedigree of this B&T stud, so I think I won't get bi-color pups.

Ahh I didn't see the links to the parents when I originally read the post this morning. Looking at the dam's color, I would highly doubt she inherited the black recessive, which would explain why you got all black and reds.....
