The individual dog will tell you when it,s ready for the training. Each has it,s own agenda.

Dhuinulfr

I'm sorry you feel that way, according to Liz you are wrong.

I'm a problem?   And I love it?

Maybe I'm just different,  you clearly did not like my black stud thread.   I'm sure there are other thing's I've written you do not agree with.   You think the devil has come to tsavo?

I am the devil !

Now can you see clearly?    Can you see I do not take thing's on the internet too seriously?   Can you now see that other people, the one's you can't seem to find anymore also do not take thing's so seriously.   They have more important thing's to do would be my best guess.

If as you say I am to blame then I am not alone.    Your entitled to your opinion.   But you have just made my point with your accusing, finger pointing attack.    Maybe you are the problem and just do not realize it.    Maybe it's just not worthy of further discussion.

Teri,

16 month's is a late start for obedience in my opinion.   And instead of asking opinion's find real information on training and technique's from book's, video's, and proven trainer's.

Go to the top of the page where it say's post new message and ask for opinion's in a new thread, it's a valid question and worth discussion.  There are trainer's here who can give you the advice you seek, but they may not read this thread and may not be aware of your question.   Some people do not read every thread, they are very selective, they have that option same as me.

Brent.

It is a busy season for those who have kids that don't have fur and those who have kids walking by their fence everyday, looking to tease the dogs  (any one got a pelett gun I can borrow?  tee-hee). Or perhaps there are some who are wise enough to know that time takes care of a lot of things.

I recall being told 'this too, shall pass' as a kid....often after being told to suck it up0!  As usual I like Moons' point of view: don't take anything too seriously, especially yourself (that part is me, not Moons).   I don't think you are a problem Moons.  You may have some problems but that ain't my fault!!! LOL  I know several people who could use a dose of your level headed, get the hell over it, attitude.
