The AKC will do nothing about complaints.  My nephew bought an AKC papered dog near Kansas City, MO and it is definitely a mix breed.  He submitted a letter and pictures per the organization's request and they basically stated they could not make a ruling and the dog will be registered as a GSD.  The AKC was informed by the SV years ago that they must follow the breed standard w/i a certain time frame.  That has not come to pass.  So, I agree that the AKC could care less and that the FCI, SV and USA may be the better way to go in submitting complaints.  I would research what the proper procedure is in doing that and then submitting the necessary information.   Good Luck, it can be a complicated and frustrating process.

Yes, I have Georgia vom Quartier Latin entered in the Canadian sieger Show. Her papers are on their way from Germany to me here at this moment. I have bought LOTS of excellent dogs/pups from/ through Dirk over the 12 years I've known him, never had anything but positive experiences. As many of you might recall, he came over and handled dogs for me in several Sieger Shows, always a gentleman and top handler, no matter if I handed him a top show dog or a gray sable working dog.

I can't say anything for/about Ms. Kolbe, as I don't know her and don't want to know her. Dirk disassociated himself with her some years ago, very unhappy with the way she conducted business. He is an honest, fair person, wants nothing to do with people who would drag his name through the slop, which is why he aksed ME to handle selling his dogs in the US.

I am delighted with the dogs he has sent me. I just didn't have time to register Georgia in my name before the entries in Cananda closed. I'm *hoping* he will come handle her for me, but I doubt he has time these days.

My goodness, you mean you've been marketing (here on the PDB and your own site) Georgia--a dog without papers?

Georgia HAS papers. As most people who import dogs know, German SV papers do not arrive as quickly as AKC papers when  alitter is registered. I guarantee the dogs I sell WILL get papers, among other things. Dirk has never failed to send me papers. His dogs/pups arrive in excellent condition, all vaccinations and routine de-worming treatments performed. Pups I buy are generally shipped a day or two after they are tattooed. Papers arrive shortly after he receives them. He does NOT hold papers on dogs I take on consignment either, but trusts me, as I trust him. Don't believe me? Come to Canada and I'll show them to you.

Dogs I have imported from Dirk have enjoyed good success in this country, not the least of which were my SG2 (USA Sieger Show) Angel vom Wodenthal, SG1 (USA Sieger Show) Colorado vom Casa Colorado)

I believe Ms. Kolbe was the problem.

I trust that Gabriel has transferred title of the pups to be sold on consignment directly to your name--even before you sell a pup to a home. Then, you sell the pup with your guarantee and send him his share of the proceeds??

These machinations sound mighty complicated to me. It must be difficult to guarantee and replace a $5000 pup with another $5000 pup after you've already paid a person such as Gabriel his cut on the sale of the original pup. He doesn't have to guarantee anything?

Guess that's why I've always been successful in buying dogs from American breeders who guarantee their stock. Never bought a pup sight-unseen, either. Have always seen the dam, too.

I would rather say less than more.  The Shepherds von Ajaye story is a black history in this country.  It is a shame on those that will ever try to copy it again.
