So, given that, why can't Preston simply post the name of the trainer and be done with it?

Lots of good reasons NOT to post actual names when warning people of corrupt so-called professionals on a public forum, nearly all litigation-related. I know I don't do stuff like that anymore, and I am not nearly as smart as Preston.

Thedogtrainer, I miss your point.  I am not trying to make anyone do anything.  The victim ask me for help after being seriously threatened.  SS is right but there are other more serious reasons.  I didn't say I wouldn't reveal the name, I just said folks would have to PM me.  There would be several conditions to meet.  In the meantime the matter is under investigation and I want any folks who use this forum who are looking for in home "psychological" dog training to be aware that one of the prominant such trainers out east has been accused by a very rock solid, reliable lady of serious felonies, including theft by fraud and terriorist threats.

Now as far as the joseph matter, there were several factors at play. The "Obama" flame stuff occurred, I didn't believe Joseph's story because of the associated Obama flarewhich was a distorted perverted attack on Hodie, and I didn't believe it was an attempted florida type home invasion (it just didn't ring true to me).  My contact in Miamia LE has told me that if the police were called and showed up for this there would have been a police report.  There wasn't.  I also said I just didn't buy the story, felt that if Joseph just wanted to acquire a PP dog only he would have made a simple request for that.  I also said that if he posted a copy of the police report I would gladly apologize.  So far nothing was proved to me about this.

Now it is well known that animal rights group fanatics have decided to take on web forums specializing in any protection oriented breeds, but the only forums they can get traction on are ones like this one that are only loosely regulated.  This cannot occur on tightly regulated ones where folks are all identified by actual names and everyone knows everyone else. On these tightly controlled forums, abusers and chaos generators are kicked off fairly quickly.

Here is the provacateurs general game plan:  Come on the selected, targeted forum under multiple nam de plums, using absurd, mocking names to degrade the site and the breed by innuendo and association.  Generate chaos, strife, false and waste of time topics, attack and harass the icons and respected long term posters with valuable experience to share, do everything posible to fracture any possible unity that could develop among the posters who love their select breed. Overwhelm the forum, drive the good folks of the breed away from the forum and reduce it to meaningless chit chat rather than breed subjects which can elicit unity and oyalty to the breed.
