Even after I bathed mine he still stunk, I hated to handle him in clothes if I was leaving the house because even after washing my hands I stunk like ferret.

Cookie (my GSD) lovd him from the day I brought him home, he hated my mom and tried to bite her all of the time!

It sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun.  When you invest in some toys for them, they love some of the human baby toys, as well as the cloth tunnels etc.

Just remember when you are playing with them in the middle of their belly - its not a belly button!!  I've seen so many people think they are soo cute and rub it only to be slightly put off when they discover that ferrets have a mid line penis!!

I had two, and there is no controlling the stink..  They are really cute, but to stinky for me..  It gets on everything..

Nice cage..  We had planned to put clear tunnels all around the house, mounted to the walls but it never happened.. Would have been cute though.

I had a ferret when i was a boy, and they do smell,

He used to go around inside my shirt and trouser pockets,

I was told i smelled just like a Ferret at the time, but Boys will be Boys, and after i punched the boy on the nose for telling me i smelled, my Mum told me the same thing, no matter how many timed i bathed. So i stopped carrying him around with me

Better for the ferrets that they live outside in a Large Cage, protect it with an overhang and they will be fine

Plus we used to use them for Rabbiting in those days, So mum was well pleased with me when i used to bring home a fresh Bunny for dinner
