I would suggest www.k9koach.com
This guy started out building dog trailers and now builds custom crates. A unique characteristic of his crates is that he uses insulated panels secured in an aluminum frame. The boxes stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. The insulated panels also cut down on the overall weight. This is a quality box and he will build to your specs.

I use Kalispel slant crates in my Mercedes ML... love them and just a fraction of the cost as a custom set-up. I have them set up side by side.
You can see them here at www.kalispelproshop.com

Yes I took out the back seats of my element. When I use that car it is just me and the dogs so I really don't need them. If I am traveling to a show or somewhere with friend I can fit one dog loose on a bed behind the two seats as well. All of my dogs are very good in the car so one of them will sometimes ride loose if I take all three or If a friend is going with me. I have plenty of storage on tope of the crates as well. I also have a luggage box for trips where I need to pack luggage.
It is a great vehicle for doggin!!
