I, too, have a nice WGR show line female of excellent caliber who doesn't breed until 3-4wks after she starts her cycle. She's a tough one to follow also, expecially when you're planning her breeding with a quality stud dog that belongs to someone else. She's had as many as 9 pups before.  I have had others who bleed for about 1 1/2-2 weeks, then breed and do fine-up to 11 pups.
