Metal stock tank full of water, shade, concrete floor hosed 3 times daily. If my dogs get hot they stand, sit or lay in the stock tank.

Radar does not live in a kennel, but in hot weather (cold weather, too) his favorite treat is an ice cube -- he loves playing "ice hockey" on the tile floor, and there are no calories!

just be really careful....I am not positive on this, but I was talking with someone recently (can't even remember who or where) but they were saying that giving a dog ice/ice water could case stomach distress. Maybe someone else on here knows about this???? I used to give my guys ice cubes all the time too....

A question about the freestanding A/C units.
Where did you get them and how much?
Okay, that was two questions.

Fteeze milk jugs and juice bottles with water and set in kennels. Use one mister and go out and spray down with cool well water during the 110* period of the day.
Sometimes bring them inside ,if home for length of the day when it is so hot.
I also take aluminun bowls , the larger ones and fill and freeze water , then turn out on kennel floor. Makes a bigger block of ice and dont have to cut a bottle up.
