I agree with you Shelly. I feed pretty much RAW and some Orijen. I was using K9 Showstopper but quit because of the vit. K thing. I have about 7#'s sitting here and think I may go ahead and feed it. I heard they are suppose to stop putting it in their formular. I haven't used the Super Fuel nor the Young at Heart or Joint strong. I would like to ask if your old dog had any joint issues? My old girl has a bad elbow. I have her on Glyco Flex 3 currently, we just started it. So not sure on the results yet, but she doesn't like the tabs to just eat, so I am breaking them up and putting them in her food. Suppose to be chewable... I sure would like to find something to make her more comfortable but won't give her pain pills. I did give her a Deramax awhile ago and noticed she was drinking/peeing more. Did bloodwork and her liver enzymes were high. We put her on Sam-E because she was eating and showed no other adverse signs. The second liver panel showed they were down and almost normal after two weeks. Don't know if it was the Deramax for sure but I am not giving her anymore to find out.

Oh, and by the way, there IS a bridge bought to go in the desert. It's the original London Bridge and it's relocated in Lake Havasu, AZ. There's a waterway but definitly it's in the Sonoran desert.

shelley,
my hubby is such a simpleton, but sometimes he comes off with something really good. i had just bought a big bag of MISSING LINK because i wanted to try it and see if the dogs looked any better on it. so we were riding in the car. i was driving and he was reading the back of the bag making comments on some of the ingredients and finally asked me something like 'why did i buy this?' and i answered something like, 'because dogfood is deficient. lacks this and that, etc' then he says, "well, then why don't they make dogfood like they're supposed to and you wouldn't have to buy this stuff?" yup. that would be the million dollar question! i can hear him saying that every time i'm fussing over what to feed the dogs. so simple, but sooooo to the point.

Carol was not getting over the 39" hurdle or the 6.5' scaling wall so well 5 weeks ago. He actually fell off the wall 3.5 weeks ago and hurt his shoulder. He sailed over them today, SchH2 dumb bell firmly in mouth. I'm sure the Young at Heart is making a difference.
I have a "problem dog" here too. The bitch was skinny as a rial when she got here, wouldn't eat hardly anything offered (including raw). She got so thin I didn't want anyone to see her, let alone enter her in a show, got so weak I wouldn't dare try to work her for fear she'd drop on me. We did a battery of tests: nothing unusual found. I was just about to send her home with profound apologies. Never have I had such a dog.
5 weeks now I've been sprinkling K9 Power on her raw chicken mornings, mix it with EVO dry at night. She eats it all right up. Her weight is nearly perfect now, lots of lovely muscle, bloomy coat, tons of energy even with daily training. Its like she's a completely different dog. (not just my opinion, but that of my whole club)
Remember the dog I asked ya'll for help on with the blood work awhile back? He had Giardia. I separated him from the other dogs, stopped on his training altogether because he was so "poorly," all of which further depressed him. He looked like s#!t even 4 weeks after treatment. He's on a higher protein diet now, with 3 sccoops of K9 Power. Again: different dog.
I am usually pretty cynical when it comes to claims of grandeur, "tough nut to crack." But even I have to say this stuff is making a difference on a number of levels. Anyone who knows how hard I work dogs in training knows it doesn't take long to see things go south when they aren't at their absolute best... and is pleasantly surprised to see how fast they can improve with what they are getting from the products I mentioned above.
'nuff said. I'm out to stress the hell out of a few strong, healthy dogs before they tear up their kennels waiting for me to come back out.

Looks like posting kudos on the forum instead of advertising for K9 Power now? What ever works for them, and your benefit. Lots of dealers out there with great prices and customer service selling the products now just do a google search and see.
The products work though, we use several of them for our dogs. Maybe your taste in beveridges is different than mine but I don't find the taste of godog appealing (smells and tastes like sour milk). I grabbed the godog sports bottle instead of my bottle by accident and what a unplesant surprize I'll stick to human sports drinks.

It was hot. I was out of mineral water (my beverage of choice) and Gatorade, losing my energy. I thought it might taste awful, like dehydrated chicken or something, but it actually tasted kind of sweet. Not my beverage of choice, but in a pinch? It did the trick. I taste everything I give my dogs, except raw meat and poultry that is... Funny old broad.
