My V Gabi vom Arolser Holz, SchH1, KK1, a1 has produced extremely well with a variety of stud dogs. she has quite a few titled, V-rated, KK1 progeny and a very nice K9 in the UK to her credit. Sadly, she is nearing the end of her reproductive life.

I dont know if it is norma but If I owne a stud should I contact someone to breed to there bitch. I heard someone say "the bitch alway comes to the stud". Idont want to look like an idiot one day by going up to somone and saying I like your bitch and would like to breed her to my male. Oh by the way heer is my stud fee!! something is just not rite about that to me. Please dont yell at me for what i say, Im a nube!!

It might be appropriate if it's a match between two dogs that you really like and you just want a pup out of the litter. I wouldn't say that to a bitch owner and then demand stud fee on top of it.

Thats what i figured but you never know.

I always look at the bitches a breeders has to determine my interest in their dogs. It is easy to find good litters with top studs but takes more research to find one with a higher quality girl.
Many breeders get a sch 1 and then use the bitch for breeding while they title their males to sch 3...

I would like to suggest http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/450789.html H.O.T. Bred PAM Lark von Sontausen SchH3 FH FH2 CDX TD KKl2 - Represented the USA at the 2004 FCI World Tracking Dog Championship. Owned by my friend Julia Priest http://www.allk-9.com/sontausen/ From a line of H.O.T. Bred bitches. Currently in training for her U.D. and herding titles.
PAM stands for the GSDCA's prestigious Performance Award of Merit. A dog must be titled to the highest level in one dog sport and then also title in two other unrelated dog sports. Not only is Lark extremely talented but so are her progeny. These are some them and their accomplishments. Many were placed with first time handlers.
PAM Nando von Sontausen UD TDX HIC OAJ NA VCD2 ; Nick-Nik von Sontausen SchH3, WD3, TD Northwestern Regional SchH3 Champion, High Obedience, High HOT; H.O.T. Nadya von Sontausen Sch1 CD RE HIC; H.O.T. Service Dog Naika von Sontausen SchH1 CD (will be going for her Sch 2 & 3 this year;working in herding; in top 3 of GSD dock diving dogs) ; H.O.T. Nixie von Sontausen SchH1; Nan's Jaydn von Sontausen "Jaydn" CGC NASAR SAR Tech III (CARDA) ;Nessie von Sontausen CARDA SAR K-9.
Okar von Sontausen Police K-9 Mendocino County, CA S.O ; H.O.T. Ondo von Sontausen SchH1 ; Osara von Sontausen CARDA SAR K-9; H.O.T. Ohme von Sontausen Bh AD; Our Justice von Sontausen FEMA SAR K-9;
Police K-9 Pixel von Sontausen; SAR K-9 Praxis von Sontausen ; K-9 in training Pascha von Sontausen; H.O.T Porsche von Sontausen TD RN CGC; H.O.T Pele von Sontausen Bh;
Police K-9 Quip von Sontausen ("Sabre") Astabula Co., Ohio S.O.; H.O.T Qiro von Sontausen Bh TT; Qessie von Sontausen Colorado K-9 Search and Rescue Team ; Qiefer von Sontausen Houston TX FEMA; H.O.T Quinni von Sontausen BH SAR K-9; H.O.T Quelle von Sontausen BH ; Qetzal von Sontausen CARDA Area Search ;
Most of the above dogs are still in training for additional titles and certifications. In addition I beleive there are several littermates I missed that just got their BH. The Q litter just turned two and the P litter there so there will be several more Schutzhund titles down the road.
Lark's final litter the R litter which just turned one has several outstanding dogs in it including a police dog in training, a specialty search dog, a hearing dog and several Schuzthund prospects. All H.O.T. Not counting the dogs from this last litter and keeping in mind I do not think I have listed all her progeny - she has produced four working K-9s and nine SAR dogs in addition to highly competitive and successful sport dogs. Pretty impressive accomplishments for one bitch and her breeder!

I can't believe there are no other examples of great bitches and what they have produced. Isn't there a UFO sister in the States that has a good production record? Come on folks let us hear about them.
Also just wanted to mention that K9 Pixel v Sontausen serves in the same county as her grandfather K9 Kaso v Sontausen ( also a Sontasuen home bred dog).
