I may have to go back by the store or give them a call to check this out a little further. I also thought this type of bag would prevent any leakage unless punctured. The more I think about this, the more I think something must have been spilled on both shelves because this was an obvious amount of oil. Thanks for all your replys.

Um, it was probably wild salmon oil that spilled ONTO the bag...not OUT OF the bag.
