So, Abhay, when is pregnancy "established"? At the moment of conception or at the time of implantation?
I would hesitate continuing it's use after a breeding (or after the diestral shift--as determined by vaginal cytology) rather than giving it up until the time that pregnancy may be confirmed by ultrasound.

I would highly recommend Lutylase for what you describe in your bitch, unless you feel that the split heat was a one time thing for some reason. I have a female that I have been trying to breed for 2 years with very similar issues that was treated with Lutylase for 3 days and now is huge pregnant and due in 2 1/2 weeks. Talk to your vet. Abhay I like your rooster pic. :) I've toyed with tribulus many times over the years and with males, for libido issues it's great. However, with females, I've seen fluctuations and that's not what you want when trying to get a bitch to conceive. Corpus luteum deficiency is often times the issue and that is what Lutylase treats. Good luck.

I had the bitch for only 2 weeks when she came into heat so yes, that could of caused the split heat. She has conceived and carried successfully in the past. I'll look into the Lutylase and thanks for the suggestion:)
My male is 10 now but he did impregnant a female AFTER this failed attempt. He'll go on the Trib for sure.
Abhay, weren't there some other supplements that you mentioned for older males in another thread? I can't pull it up.

MI GSD, I am a firm believer in Zinc, for the older male, both human and canine. You can try to stack the Zinc with Icariin, Tongkat Ali, Testo fen, and BSN's Axis HT is getting good reviews as well.
Below are drugs tested by The LSU SCHOOL OF VETERINARY MEDICINE. These drugs are used to induce estrus in female canines. The Lutalyse, mentioned by the very knowledgeable "Alte Baum", is one listed.
