Anne Kent of Adler Stein Kennels in Saugus, CA  www.adlerstein.com

Anne has wonderful dogs and is marvellous to deal with - she will subject buyers to scrutiny, but that's what you want - she cares where her dogs go, and what kind of life you are going to provide for them. If you are looking for a high quality WORKING line GSD they don't come any better - and Anne will give support long after the sale.  A great experience, and she picked the perfect girl for us.........

von Stephenitz in PA. Nice and honest people. Nathan x Kuda litter produced pups that are extremely well balanced. They are always available to answer any questions, pups are well socialized when they come to you, and you can go and visit them 24/7 which is always a plus.

Working Lines - (he does show lines too but I purchased an amazing working line bitch from him) Steve & Connie Miller - Spring Grove WI

Show Lines- Randy Lauterbach - Milford IL

I have found both of these people to be extremely honest and fair. Their dogs are great.

Mark and Michele Scarberry, von Lindesfarne in Ohio. Absolutely ethical, great breeding stock, very very knowledgeable about bloodlines. Both are active trainers who trial and title all the time, so they really know what is behind, and IN, the dogs they are breeding.

I've had very good experiences with many breeders to name a few.....
RokanHaus, Eichenluft, Alabama K9, SchraderHaus K9, Adel Haus  - I found all of them to be "easy" to deal with, knowledgeable, and honest.   But like Milli said, you will need to do your own homework with any breeder or kennel you deal with.

Randy-Tyson wittmer- Vom haus tyson -California

Ajay singh- Zwinger vom Patiala

Heidi Theis- vom Theishof, Idaho.

They are all ethical, knowledgeble about the breed and real nice people who care for their breedings for their lifetime.

reading through these posts, i see a number of kennels that have been both praised and scorned.  my experience has been no different.  the folks i have bought from have been praised by some buyers and blasted by others.  probably my best experience has been with rinus bastiaansen from daelenberghutte in belgium.  excellent communication.  he has patiently answered every question i have asked.  his knowledge is limitless.  i would certainly consider buying from him again.  i have not personally bought a dog from anne kent of adlerstein, but i have recommended her to others.  she, too, has been very helpful and has a great deal of knowledge when it comes to breeding and training.  likewise, i would consider buying from her as well.  a breeder who is a coach even after the sale........that's what i like!

I've now had 3 pups (and sent my old guy Zeppe up to be a stud there) from Lytle's K9/Klatolklin in Alaska and have nothing but praises for them. THey were very hard to socialize their pups and all 3 of the pups we got from them came out raring to go. They've sent exactly what we've asked for and were helpful when one of my pups got sick. They have a great guarantee ( hips, elbows, ears standing and testicles descending etc) and seem to stand behind it, very happy with them.

I've gotten 2 dogs from Uwe Doose ( von haus doose) who has litters every now and then and have been happy (of course he IS my training director and friend so a bit biased I'm sure :-)

And I imported a dog from Eurosport K9 and was ok with that...had a little bit of an issue about my dogs ear, but Tanya was helpful and the dogs personality was exactly what I wanted, I felt like they matched me to the dog for me, since I actually had been looking at another dog on their site. Cyrano was exactly what I needed though.
