LOL does the pup in the front of the pic, not look like isis the pup in the new thread? I'm wondering where all of these new people and children are coming from posting all ove the place? Did someone throw the DB link out in the garbage?

I personally think a diet is in need for that big shepherd. I can see the nasty nails too that you are talking about. I think a bath is in order here....

I often wonder why people have dogs and cannot do the mini hygiene requirements....hopefully someone will learn soon.

Oh that is Isis and the same poster. That pic was so big I never scrolled over to see  the other one, with the nails.

I wish every breeder asked some kind of requirements for full registration. The breed would be in a better place if that was the case. Good bye puppy millers and good bye cheapskate breeders that don't vacinate, OFA, and only half ass care for their litters and dogs. If 1 title and OFA was all that was needed to reg a dog, you can bet 90% of people wouldn't have papered dogs.

Oh, for crying out loud. You want a potential brood bitch and you want to cut corners?  Boo freakin hoo.

FYI, I sell puppies with disqualifying faults (LC, etc.) on limited registration and people don't like me trying to protect the breed they don't have to buy the dog. Simple.

Well, I'm not surprised by the other peoples' reactions here concerning this entire ordeal. Poster, I could've warned you. I only tried to appeal to your common sense in my post. We've got enough breeders as is in the US who breed for anything BUT legitimate reasons. It's sad to us-it's nothing personal against you as a person.

While maybe I'm nice and don't have any personal comments one way or another on your personal care or anything like that, this forum is about the GSD(s). A moody brood-bitch isn't the most ideal dog to be purchased to have quality litters from; while I've got nothing against a protective female who doesn't take kind to strangers due to breeding/training/being a guard dog for the family, but that same female should be doting and loving with her family at the least. Don't you think? If she's not even dependable with her family, then she's got issues that need dealt with by a professional who is experienced with GSDs and knows what they're doing; breeding her for pups is not going to fix that. That female is a potential liability. The breeder did you a favor in you not getting this dog. I hope you can see this; it was a blessing in disguise, especially if you have children.

And do you breed that fat dog in the other pics? Haven't you read any easily accessible links here online about the negative results from a GSD being severely overweight? It's hard on the hips, heart health, shortens the lifespan, causes complications during extreme weather conditions (i.e. summer heat), etc. If you truly love that dog and want to keep it around for a while, get it moving (do it gradual-don't make it suffer a heart attack), get its weight down, and give it something to do by playing games to help it get in some degree of physical shape. It'll be much healthier and probably happier.

Blair,

People have the right to put condition's into a deal, thats just the way it is.   You have the right to purchase what you want.

The two must come together or no sale.

This is nothing new.

Brent.

My God! Those dogs of yours are huge! How disgusting!

I can see your add in the local paper there in Kentucky.

German Shephard (notice the "a") puppies for sale. AKC Full registration. These puppies will be HUGE! Father on site. He weighs 140lbs. Mother is about 120lbs. These are Champion blood lines.

You have no business breeding dogs. You are/will be one of the BS breeders!

It's funny, normally I joke with people from Michigan and say "Michigan, the Kentucky of the north".

What does one say about Kentucky? "Kentucky, the Kentucky of the south?
