Not to belabor this, but your dog is not starting to become a little "courageous" as you put it in coming into the H&B and talking a "little bite". I suggest that for all your experience, something is wrong with the training you and your friends are doing. By the way, for what it is worth, going to two clubs at the same time can be problematic in that the dog never knows what to expect. Not saying that is the central issue, but generally, for people who are not very experienced, sticking with one method is a better idea.
Finally, there are many ways to teach an out, even to a strong dog. The absolute LAST choice of any good trainer would be to use an e-collar.

The perfect opportunity to introduce your dog to the E collar will be at the Ivan seminar next week in SLC. PM me and let me know how things are going and what collar you purchased?
