I did a 3-3 on Aly Vordersteinwald and it was amazing so I am not opposed to a 3-3 at all!

Also, take into consideration that Stormfronts Brawnson only has OFA FAIR hips!  Do you really want to go 3-3 on an OFA FAIR dog?  I wouldn't go that close on this dog......I will look at OFA and see if he is producing progeny with better hips though.

Ok make up your mind on one hand u say Brawnson was a product of good training read your comment what this means.and any tom dick and harry can have an opinion there is no law against that unfortunatly but  your openion has to be an educated one. i read your post and no where it says Brawnson was a good dog. i am not offended i just hate when people talk shit that is all .and again no trainer in the world does not matter how good hye or she may be you can not take a dog where his genetics just do not allow the dog u speak of that Joanne took to some level had the genetics already with out those Joanne or any one like her can not takle a dog to any level.speaking of Joanne i also seen her take a good to shits too.again Brawnson had great genetics and Mike was a very good handler and trainer and that is what Brawnson was product of and just for your knowledge this is what any great dog is product of this combination without one of these things u got only half the story.

Held,

Never said Brawnson was a bad dog and of course he is a product of good training!  He can't just go out and be as successfull as he has been with out the good training.  In less experienced hands he would be just another dog!  I based my opinion on the progeny I have seen and now on the hip scores that are on OFA!  Wonder how many of his progeny are out there that also have bad hips/elbows?  I know one gentleman that bought a dog from a guy(not related to Brawnson) and had the hips done and the vet said they were so bad that sending them in isn't even worth it! Lots of people do this so they go unrecorded and the guy doesn't want anyone to know because he is affraid that the club won't want him to train his dog!  It experiences no issues either.

K9sar06,

The dog with the bad hips is from the very person you and I know, have spoken about!  I wonder if there was a guarantee and if it will be honored?

You are not reading my answer properly cause u seem to be repeating half of what i am saying.Genetics and training.show me one dog that has not produced bad hips.

Held,

I can't argue with you on the genetics part.  A corgi or Jack Russel Terrior don't have the "genetics" bred for for schutzhund but I can tell you of a couple of these breeds that are SchH titled!  Probably due to good training!  But a trainable dog is a trainable dog!  But to line breed 3-3 on a dog with those statistics (ONLY MY OPINION) isn't a good idea!

Ok some Jack Russles can do the work but if they do not have the drives to do shutzhund work then they can not does not matter if it is a jack russel or a german shepherd ,there are lot of shepherds that can not do shutzhund because gnetically they do not have drives like prey drive for example and Joanne Plumb or any big trainer that you like would not be able to put any shutzhund title on a dog like that.that,s what genetics are all about.if genetics are not there for shutzhund work no trainer in the woprld can put title on a dog like that .hope this explaines better.

Held,

I guess you also have your opinions too!  Any trainable dog can do a SchH 1 wheather or not they have the drive to do it.....you just have to be a good trainer........a trainable dog can be trained to do ANYTHING!  I know a ton of dogs that can be clicker trained to do ANYTHING!  My moms toy poodle can do a bark and hold, he can track, he can do BH obedience....because he is TRAINABLE!  He has no agression in him but does it because it has been trained.
