she was in false pregnancy after her heating and that what i came to know from this board members. after their suggestions i remove her toys and within few days she was back to normal.
since then she is fine till now.
if she is grown enough after her 1st heating then i'd do now rather go thru' the same cycle again.
also, she isn't show or competition dog. but i'm started to train ScH just been few times only and don't know how far she can achieve.
would be glad to hear any comments and suggestions.
thanks so much.

Spaying too early can affect full maturity, which could potentially affect her performance in protection aspect of SchH. You may wanna consider that-that's why we've asked if she is a competition dog or a companion/pet. If you wanna do serious SchH, then you may wanna consider what's been said here and wait. You could still do considerable on and off-leash heeling and obedience stuff with her and compete in AKC obedience trials, even if you spayed her now. It takes time, patience and effort to teach that one aspect of things alone (off-lead obedience).
I know of some clients who paid a BIG price for real nice working male from nice WGR working lines for competition, but because the owners' vet pushed them to neuter early and they followed what their vet said like it was gospel, that sable boy never fully developed and was always romping about like a big pup and eating like a horse-never worth a hill of beans for serious competition, unfortunately. It was expensive lessons for those people to learn, thankfully I didn't go thru such myself. It's one mistake that unfortunately can't be undone.
I don't blame you for not wanting to to through more episodes like what you've described; it would be frustrating to say the least. Ultimately, it's your call on what you decide to do. Best wishes with it.

i'mnot rush for any reason. as long as it is good for her health plus the ScH training purpose i'm fine to wait. no problem with me.
its just that i got some comments here that made me confuse.....
would be glad to hear.
thanks

Ok, well my intact male is 6 1/2 and still likes to romp like a big pup. LOL He's goofy around the house, but is more serious when it comes to the work. But, overall he truly enjoys working in both schutzhund and herding.
You are in a tough spot. Maybe let her go through one more heat cycle and see if she goes through another false pregnancy. Sometimes they sudo pregnancy can get worse, or that might just be her only one. Some are really extreme and in that case I would want to spay the dog sooner rather than later. LOL She might not go in for another few months anyways.

Rez, the juvenile sable male neutered I mentioned earlier would never get serious for any sort of bitework & courage whatsoever, nor get worked up for an agitator-he wanted jump about, wagging his tail and steal your stuff and take off with it and that was that. Never bit the sleeve or even tried. He hadn't been bought for a mere pet; he had been bought to be a schutzhund competition dog, which he was very under par to what the family expected. It wasn't due to breeding-it was because he'd been clipped too early. He never fully matured, and it was a sad situation. The dog was bounced around from home to home because he was despised for not being what was expected-a friend of mine who's a trainer got him and called me, telling me his background and asking me my opinion why he wasn't more. Upon further investigating into the dog's situation, we learned about his early neutering and didn't need to go further. He was obedience trained and made a nice family pet so his story ended pleasant enough.
