I dont have to make generalizations about Mans Best Friends. involved with several organizations that had been reported for abuses and was investigating how each of these facilities trained their german shepherds.   Mans Best Friends didnt pass the test...They were for passive shepherds that cant take the testing of our sports, or for any thing other than a pet.anything they professed other than that was a big made up fanatacy.hey did not know how to train a german shepherd

luvmidog, yea..you don't have to make generalization when you can always just straight up lie. That never happened and you know it. I have worked for MBF for around 13 years and never have I heard of such. You don't have to like MBF or agree with how they do things, but to make up lies and false accusations is a very touchy ground especially when  you involve slander. Can any one of you provide facts..because if not..slander is exactly what that is.

Therese,

Is this the pup you brought out to our club training several months back? Why not invest the time to work the pup on your own, you are welcome out anytime.  If I remember correctly your pup made progress just the 1st time it was here.

Yes, run from mans best friend they have the worst facility and there training is a joke. I was offered a job there as a manager and a trainer and after the tour I was disgusted with the facility( I-10 and Beltway8) there is other places much better what are you wanting to train for?

Alright guys.  If you want to see what MBF is like in person.  I welcome you guys to come and check out our facilities at anytime.  I work at the NRH location, so give me a call.  I'll give you a tour of the kennel, let you watch how we train the dogs, and give you whatever information that you want.  I'm sick in tired of you people talking about MBF like you have a personal vendtta against them.

If the facilities are as bad as you guys make them out to be, how do you think we'd be in business for over 27 years now?  You may not agree with some of our training methods, but i'll tell you from first hand experience that it works.  I was a previous customer at MBF.  My expereince was great.  I ended up enjoying the lessons so much, that i got a job there.  That doesn't mean that my knowledge of trainin is limited to MBF.  I still train with my dog club twice a week for PSA, and am constantly reading up on training and dogs in general.  If things were as bad as you guys make it out to be, then i'd be long gone and sueing for my money back.

you guys can reach me at mark@mansbestfriend.com or call me at work 817-788-9688.

And luvmidog, i am a GSD enthusiast and MBF is for me.

Mark, now I suppose you are going to tell us that your whole organization is all "smiley faced" and that dog's are their "Best Friends".  You don't dress in black when you train do you?

Preston, i do try to keep things as positive as possible. That being said, i also know that its impossible to please everyone.  I'm not trying to say that MBF is the best out there.  There are several great places to take your dog and train them.   I just wanted to let people know that we do the best we can and that these accusations that are being made may not have merit.  We will always have skeptics and people that have "heard" one thing or another and i understand that.  But keep your minds open, just because you have heard one thing it doesnt mean that it's true.

P.S. I do wear a black shirt to work from time to time.
