I am so very sorry to hear that your beautiful girl is facing this challenge -- she may find some relief (and you may find some comfort) through TTEAM massage, developed by Linda Tellington Jones. If you "google" "TTEAM" or "Linda Tellington Jones" you will find plenty of information on the Internet. I am so very very sorry and will pray for you both.

Melanie, God Bless you & Chili. a special Blessing to the loving Friend who puts her Friends needs before her own. It is not easy to let go, and let God & Nature take their course, even though our pets & friends would surely think that is the kinder & more sensible thing to do. I made that decision for my cat, kept her as comfortable as possible with as little treatment,(ie: vet visits- she hated going to the vets...)as possible; and would make the same decision for my dogs, (the same decision I would make for myself, BTW); I would like to hope I would have that much strength. They don't know why they're being put through the torture of needles, exams, etc., it's hard enough for people, who can reason why they should submit to these things; for our animals, they only know they will suffer patiently because we wish it, because it has always been their desire to please us. Conservative treatment with steroids & analgesics will mean more quality, and that is truely the only way to measure precious time. My thoughts & prayers are with you. May you two have a blast this summer! Live it up! Our dogs tell us every day that we should be living every moment like that anyway! My Very Best Regards, jackie harris
