I think I need to go out and buy one of those :( I have another picture taken in the window...but I live in a forest...so it's not a great background :( I'll see if I can find that one too

When you get hips and elbows done, do they show you the xrays that day and do they give you copies? I take Chaos to MSU tomorrow to get his done. Also would you get them registered with AKC or UKC? Most now are telling me I should through the AKC, even though I show him in UKC and do UKC obedience. Both of his parents were registered through AKC. What can I look forward to tomorrow?

My Vet put them in the mail - I asked them not too...and they went to the Mail station and got them back for me - I wanted to see them first so that i could have an idea of what they looked like (and take pictures). And I needed to throw a check in there...and I also sent the xrays in with my BAER results.
So the moral of the story is make sure you tell your vet and that they know you want to see the xrays first.
Ruby's number is actually coming up using her NHSB number, and secondarily her UKC number...she's not AKC because she's not a GSD. Leo is listed with his UKC primarily and AKC secondarily...they'll add the second number if you call them and ask them to do it.

Congratulations on the good hips and elbows.
What is a WSSD?

White Swiss Shepherd Dog - the FCI seperated White Shepherd :)
They've generally got all the same issues, including hips (though Ruby came from several generations of tested and clear stock) and I'm always a little wompy about hips because one never knows - it's such a crap shoot!
