I would also second Nate's post!!! We've had these exact same harness's from Bridgeport equipment and you can't beat them. The original one has quite a few years worth of work on it. It's been on many police dogs and sport dogs. We ordered another one (med) for the female we're working now. The ad for it says tracking harness but it's best used for protection. The handle on it comes in handy.

I can vouch for Bill Forbes as well. I have done business with him for years. His leather is nice and soft right out of the gate. He is a great guy and if your not happy with something, he will make it right.
I recently bought a harness, bite pillow, and leash from All-K9. Their prices are great. Took a little while on the shipping. I tried the new synthetic leather. The leash it great. The harness works fine, but if I had to do it again, I would have gotten the leather.

Any good, strong, adjustable leather harness with good qulaity buckles (I prefer heavy brass, not chrome) is usually fine. I DON'T like my nylon harness with the quick-snap plastic fasteners. Its very hard to adjust on an excited dog doing back-flips next to the van. It hasn't actually failed, but I don't trust it. Last thing I want is to get a helper bit due to equipment failure. Where I come from, the helper is perfectly justified in beating a handler who gets him bitten with the pieces of failed equipment. LOL

Correction: Mine is not a Frabo, anyway it's from Dethyse, the one on the bottom with the big breast plate, and I really like it:
