While we are on the subject, would someone translate this too please.

Ah-much easier.

A bitch of absolutely correct size with correct length-to-height relationship. Pronounced expression and pronounced strength with a very good total strength. Very harmonious topline and underline, balanced brisket and straight in front. Very good front and rear angulation, straight tracking, and the bitch presents outstanding stride with full strength and very good step-through. Naturally confident. TSB pronouced-does out.

A bit easier if I paste it where I can easily see it.

Would a dog that is cow hocked or narrow gaiting typically be V rated and/or KKL1?

YES

by gsdlvr2 on 23 May 2008 - 03:05

Yes Yellowrose she is a bitch of mine and she produces like herself. Awesome girl. Will be bred in the next few weeks. It's nice to have parts of the breed survey translated. Thanks Bob-O.

Yes, this dog is V rated and KKL1. Also SchH3. Very nice dog. Not the same one I posted the picture of last week Yellow Rose. I have passed on that dog. His working ability was lacking.

Maybe it doesnt mean  cow hocked......german translations are difficult sometimes, as these judges could mean something else...    If it is evident , a cowhocked female would receive a V rating.? Or a poor gaiting in front and rear both...?

I thought V  was close to excellent and SG was very good...no wonder there is so much disent and up heavel in the show ring ...if these kinds of traits are still in a V rated dog...must be something else they saw...I think I will stay to the working lines with a little show shoved into them along the way....wg show....that is..

Check his workability , too...also check to make sure he does have a SchH3...and dont anyone say ,,,it is on his papers....yes, and no....one just got sent here from germany and on this database the owner and seller advertised and sold pups for a year on this male and come to find out,,,,,after sending his papers back to Germany, with notarized proof he was here and owned by usa resident.,,he had no SchH 3.....there are ads still up saying he had or has that title....no one checked from the time he was sold the first time to now....It will be corrected , here , when owner gets around to logging in and doing it..

Engtretend doesn't mean cowhocked, engtretend is narrow stepping, not completely straight, steps too close in front and rear, not parallel.  Cowhocked is "lose Sprungelenke" or something similiar.
