Let'em dry, then beat it off'em.

Throwing a stick in the river just before the end of the walk is the cleanest way I know of getting mud off...
Failing that a bucket of warmish water and a large chamois leather does the job really well. Wet the chamois & stroke it down the coat once, rinse & repeat until clean. Towelling off is then a darn site easier & cleaner.
Cheers,

I did have a nice well kept Lawn before the Winter started, since then it has Rained and Rained all winter long. The Ground cannot take the rain and it has turned to a Mud area with the Dogs having there daily time on it
Long Haired Goran gets plastered, We say he looks like a Rug Rat, and he looks at times as if he has been pulled backwards through a hedge.. its an on going thing all winter to try and keep him clean, He as i have said lives outside so it is not so bad for me

Over here in Belgium we have the King Alfred Canel But the truth is i have never seen a river here in four years, and it has not because i have not looked
About 50 kms away is the Ardennes very hilly, i expect there are rivers there but over three quarters of Belgium is flat and i cannot find any rivers at all
And in the local City about 6 miles from where i live which is the smallest city in Belgium, i have never seen a fishing tackle shop, so that backs up the fact there are no rivers here, I wished there was

I guess I'll just stick with the mud moster and rinse him nightly, He has to get pretty clean every afternoon as he sleeps in the bedroom. Redoing the yard in the next year or so is on the agenda, with lots of other things......
Thanks for the tips.
