Young females are prone to vaginitis that generally self cures or responds well to antibiotics like tetracycline. Also I'd watch her for any signs of pyometra, the timing is right. If she goes off her food, starts to drink a lot of water, vomits, acts depressed, she needs to go back to the vet ASAP.

I've heard bitches that cycle every 4 months are more at risk of pyo. I don't know if this is true or not, but my friend's bitch developed pyo after her second heat. My friend did get two very nice litters out of her, after having the pyo treated at the Guelph University veterinary clinic$$$$$$. The bitch was on antibiotics throughout the pregnancies, though, and that cost a lot of money. When my friend tried for a third litter WITHOUT antibiotics, the female developed pyo late in the pregnancy, and had to be spayed. She lost all the puppies, too.
She was a 4-monther as far as her cycle went.
Don't panic: I just want to warn you it CAN happen.
More than likely, you female will turn out to be completely normal. First heats can be irregular, until the hormomes get themselves sorted out.

Ok, thanks guys. I am hoping it's nothing as there has been the very slight ocassional white discharge for a couple weeks now. Some days it's not there at all.
I am hoping since she had her first heat at 7 months and 3 weeks it's just her body figuring out hormones.

I think the truth of this comes from the fact that every heat cycle that happens has a chance of pyo, so the more cycles, the higher the chance.

I don't remember whether there was any discharge but my older female had totally erratic heat cycles for the first 4 cycles or so. She had every annomoly you could think of. Super close, super long, split heat and silent heat. Hardly any blood and only for a few days to 6 full weeks of blood. She is pretty predictable but she is in heat now and it's only been four months since her last.
