That is awesome, congrats! Things have a way of working out. I wasn't even looking for a dog when I got my boy Andy and aside from my kid is the best thing that ever happened to me.
Good luck with him!

Congratulations. What a nice gift. Sounds like it worked out well for all involved. Can we see a pic?

What a great story, and sounds like it is meant to be. Good luck training Ty. Look forward to hearing about him in the future,

Betty,
It's great to hear from someone else that also knows Larry. I really liked him and I could tell he was my kind of "dog person". And you're right about telling me the complete truth about the dog. I did have to laugh because when we went to put him in the car, I didn't have a crate with me just the dog barrier. Larry kept looking at my SUV and shaking his head - You do know he's going to eat those mats you've got down right?" And probably the seatbelt straps? Maybe even the seat it's self?" I just told him the back of the car is for the dogs and equipment. If it happens, it happens. Ty did not eat the seats or anything else on the ride and he's really settling in well.
