I have a coon hound being boarded here and he could have been the father for the placement and size and conformation of the ears. These are NOT purebred pups.....but you already know that. DNA testing is a waste of money in this case.

Mixed breed to me.
Plus, shouldn't there be at least a couple of sables in the litter?

Can you not take the puppies back to the lady? and let HER" deal with her problem? There is a higher chance then not that she knew that it was a mix litter.

They look like crosses to me too, though some are more "shepherdy" than others and I would be surprised if a sable sire did not produce at least one sable pup in 10, though it is not impossible. I think the parentage will become more apparent as the pups get older and another couple of weeks should confirm things without incurring the cost of DNA testing. The other thing to consider is, even if they are pure GSD, if they are such poor breed type you think they are crosses, why register them anyway?

The first one looks like a shepherd but the rest look like Coon Hounds or black and tans as we say in Louisiana....

Plott hound? B&T Coonhound maybe? Definitely "hound" ears. Mixed breeds, to be sure. I'd be calling "the breeder" on it.

IMO a hound mix, aside from the earset the muzzle and skull shape is also not that of a GSD pup either.

I'd DNA one pup that looks the least GSD-ish just to take back to this breeder.

DNA testing is definitely in order.
Those pups don't look purebred at all.
The coloring brings further question of parentage into the equation. Sable is the most dominant of all the GSD colors. So IF the sire was indeed the sable DDR dog, what are the chances that NONE of the pups would be sable? Very slim.
