he will be 7 in June. I have a Video of when he was at Kraftwerk doing bite work with Wayne Curry in 04 doing it then. So its been an on going thing. He dose it no matter who is playing with him or who has the sleeve on or who the helper is.
He hits hard and dose not break his grip he looks like any other dog doing bite work that I have seen ( I am not an expert) he just crys ., A few years back we caught a dude breaking in to my tool shed one night and when the guy came at me with a crow bar the dog went all out and took the guy down but there was no crying then only growling and barking.

Hodies, probably right, no bid deal - I was thinking he was a pup!

The bottom line is that we don't know exactly what the poster is describing, but many, many dogs are vocal. It is how a judge attributes that vocality that MAY be an issue. With this dog, as it is described, at his age, I would not worry about it one bit. I have a dog who loves the bite work. He will not back down with pressure and he always is whining and I think he is just a vocal dog. If your dog took down a burglar, I would certainly not even entertain anyone here trying to tell you the dog has weak nerves or some of the other stuff that will come out of some people......
Enjoy your dog and let him enjoy himself. Sounds like he already earned his place in your household!!

I agree with hodie now that we know he's 7 years old. He's probably just a vocal dog. I was thinking more along the lines of a young dog that may be being pushed too hard and getting stressed out.

I had a male whine on the sleeve because of a cracked canine tooth. I just happened to notice that he picked up the dumbbells differently, platzed him, examined the mouth and found a hairline crack about 1/4" in the back of the left canine.
