Lambriar's puppy broker business is owned by Roger & Darlene Lambert. Their son Doug Lambert owns & operates the pet supply business, Lambert Vet Supply, formerly known as Lambriar Animal Health Care. Prior to the name change, Roger and/or Darlene owned a majority of the business, and only in the last year or so did Doug buy them out and change the name. Lambert Vet supply also owns and operates web sites for Vet Med Direct & Pet Supplied 4 Less.

They are not a broker as that term is used in the GSD world.  They are - as they themselves state- a distributor. On their answer page these are their definitons:Breeder –

Lambriar® buys from USDA licensed breeders.

Distributor – Lambriar® is a distributor. A distributor markets puppies for the breeders and wholesales to pet retailers only.

Retailer – A pet retailer sells directly to the consumer. Retailers must have a storefront and a retail tax permit.

Finally they are located in Kansas. USDA license  sells only to stores, needs a distributor which just happens to be in one of the largest puppy mill state.  Hello I think it's pretty darn clear what they are.

I feel like such an idiot! My husband and I recently fell in love with a beautiful female chocolate lab from a puppy store. We have always wanted a dog, and she had such a calm temperment we went for it on a whim rather than researching more into her background.

She has been with us now for 4 days and I decided to do some research on her "pedigree". Come to find out she is from the Lambriar Kennel. I've researched some of her bloodlines and she has 8 champions in her pedigree, however I can't find any information on her parents...grr!

I can't believe my puppy might be from a puppy mill. I'm so disapointed in myself for not being more responsible and researching more about my dog. I am attached to her now, and she is such a sweet girl, but I'm so upset to find out about where she came from.  The pet store owner kept telling us over and over that she ACA certified and made it sound like such a big deal. Now I realize it's just a load of bull. We will probably never be able to show or breed her, right?

BOTTOM LINE!!! LAMBRIAR buys from PUPPY MILLS AND SELLS TO PET STORES.

I bought my dog from a Lambriar Breeder...Whatever! USDA Breeders...A bunch of Crap! They are not regulated. My dog has cost me $16, 000 in vet bills his first year of life. He now holds on by a thread daily!

We must put the so called "BROKERS DISTRIBUTORS whatever out of business because they are the ones perpetuating the crimes of PUPPY MILLS!!!!

Noblecroft is an american breeder, used to adv on dogworld mag. for a while.  supposedly big in AKC obed. and used ger/amer lines.

Is this the same Lambert that owns DAS(Dutch Aquarium systems)?  he also owns all the petlands in North Texas.
