hit the button to fast, if I had more money I would get 4 or 5 dogs total. I grew up on a farm and we had a big pack of dogs but my grandfathers idea of health care left a lot to be desired. So I would get more then the old wallet can Handel right now.

I have 2 1/2 dogs, would like to have 3 here with me, but for now, 2 will have to do. I co-own 1 dog with my daughter, & he lives with her. All GSDs, wouldn't have any other kind! jh

A 4 year old GSD (Well he'll be 4 in March - Where did the time go?) and one on the way

I have 3; would love to have more but realistically with my hectic lifestyle I'd be doing more dogs a huge injustice as I would not have the time to adequately provide the attention they all need. It's tough juggling the one's I have sometimes.

3 = 1 male urban disaster dog, age 7
1 female cadaver dog, age 28 months
1 female house pet, age 5 (keeping the other 2 in line)
would I add more? Keep threatening to get a foo foo dog, but then given my "A" type personality I would probably find a working job for that one too 
add to that 1 african grey parrot, 1 umbrella cockatoo, 1 love bird, a cat and my senior parent all under 1 small suburban roof!!!

Currently we have 8. Gesha (11), Halo (9), Flint (7), Farquar (7), Gipsi (4), Ricky(3), Artie(1) and Beal(3.5months)who is for sale! The best part is they go back and forth between my brother and I so I never have more than 6 in the house at one time. We each have our own "special" dogs that never leave. If I had a bigger house, more land, and a lack of idiot neighbors, whose dogs roam, I would have a few more. I would also like to add a leonberger at some point, but that still needs a lot of convincing.

Two currently; Apache - 1 1/2 and Savage - 1. Would love at least two more but, need to move first.
Hubby wants to add a Rottie back into the mix one day.

Just three right now and hoping to add a young female soon.
Xandor (GSD) is almost 10 and I have two housepets, one spayed GSD and a RottieMutt.
The Bengal cat population is growing a wee bit faster though.
