The weather outside is frightful... - Page 2

I'm with you on that one AKV, I like the snow when it's really cold, everything looks so clean and it seems so peaceful. I love to hear the crunch under foot and see the crystals reflecting light. I hate when it turns to mush and mud and even worse when it freezes over again.

When I woke up this morning it was 5 degrees in the live free or die state.

It was 6 degrees when I woke up, now it's 21 degrees in Massachusetts..

52 degrees right now in La...

but its still to cold for me.....i ready for the 80+ days....

We're up to 21 degrees but it's supposed to fall all day.  We also have another winter storm warning until 7 tonight.  Looks like we have about 9 inches of fresh snow already. 

I'm freakin' cabin fever crazy!

My 12 yr. old Conni wants nothing to do with the cold. She's luxuriating in the whelping kennel in the basement, only goes out long enough to relieve herself. I have to throw 7 yr.old Gabi out. I'm having to defrost and refill water buckets under hot water in the tub 3-4x a day. What a pain. We have snow and ice. Its so cold and breezy I wouldn't even walk the 1,000' down the hill to get the mail yesterday.  I hate PA.

Well Shelley.........that was smart on your part to not walk down the hill 1,000 feet......cause there wasn't any mail yesterday.....LOL It was a Holiday for the Post Office...... LOL

LMAO!  Oh my.  Shelley would of not been a happy camper.   It's okay Shelley.  I yelled at the drive up banking machine that nobody was working at yesterday.

Shelly~~I was born and raised in PA...Harrisburg.  When I was young...a Loooong time ago, we got so much snow and cold. Now, it is minimal.  This is my kind of weather...0 -20.  My dogs are happiest and I am happy to spend the day outside with them, working with them and taking pictures of them loving the snow.  At night, I am in front of the fire, if I am not at work,  Life is good in my winter wonderland :)
