Heidi burps after every meal.  At first I thought this was really cute and really a good sign about bloat so I would praise her every time she burped, now she very PROUDLY burps, preferably in my face...lol

you were asking about putting gas-x in dogfood.......i've been wondering about something along those lines myself.......

when my kids were babies, i remember buying drops for gas..it always helped the baby burp after feedings...i would put a couple drops in their bottle sometimes...mix it right in with the milk.....wonder if the same could be done with dogs?...mix it in thier water or food?....also wonder if the baby or childrens formula would be kinder on the dogs stomach then the adult formula?...

Burping like hiccoughs is perfectly normal.

the ingredient in gas x is simethicone, the same as is in infant colic formulae, it coalesces small bubbles into large ones, often used in cattle.

Cannot see any merit in putting it routinely into dog's food but can see some merit in dosing IF the dog shows signs of bloat as you are on the way to the vet.......

Burp, hiccup, yeah.  Just wait till they fart in the middle of the night!

I am glad mine fart in the middle of the night sometimes. this way I can blame it on them when my own stomach is upset. LOL
