All other issues aside, it looks to me like Gustav could use some serious groceries and an hour or two of grooming, yes?
The mind boggles.

Why are you so fast with your judgement If that boy has a good pedigree linage and is OFA good Ellbows good has good temperament why not put him up for stud, why don't you find out if he is titled before you make a judgement, all you guys are doing is advertise and sale your titles, The offspring of titled dogs DON"T COME WITH TITLES. 4 years ago I purchased my Bitch out of untiled Parents and she has SchH3 and SAR. |
first if the dog was titled they would have stated that in the ad. titles are a way to try and make sure that the GSD's continue to have the traits that make the GSD what it is. secondly according to the SV the dogs should be titled to be bred. athough the AKC doesn't require it, where did these dogs originate from? Germany. how did this breed come to have the traits we admire in the GSD? from the original dogs that were bred in Germany and imported. No the pups off of titled dogs don't come with titles theselves. you maybe able to get lucky and title a dog off of untitled parents. but you have a much better chance of getting a quality dog with good nerves, health and working ability from proven titled parents with a proven backround.

Gustav,
The comments were about a DOG named Gustav, not you.

Gustav,
I think you should go further than to take that suggestion under advisment, you should "take it to heart"!!!!! That dog needs some serious food. You say he has a blocky head, that's because he has no meat on his bones ."at all".
Please, do something for that dog. I found that pic very disturbing!!!!

KitKat
The dog is not Gustav's dog, he just happens to have the same name here as the dog does. He was joking about the coincidence when he posted that he'd take it under advisement like they were talking about HIM.

Just to be certain, I have PMed Gustav to tell him that the comments were directed at a dog named Gustav, not him personally. Now whether he took this as a joke or somehow thought the comments were directed at him, well, only time will tell.
So Gustav will tell us whether he is in need of putting on some weight and getting a haircut etc........LOL

OK, so a dog in question, Gustav, has no titles yet can log in to this board and type a response. Well worth the money in my opinion.

I too found the pic there quite disturbing! Though the pic in the PDB is not as bad.
Wow is all I have to say
