"Cat Wrote"
" Would that the statement that a pedigree is not
considered copyrighted material be for both breeders and owners?"
Hi Cat,
I don't know, maybe....
I am just quoting this site's own words.
Only the author knows what they mean Exactly.
But maybe both, as the SV and the AKC allow
the sale of such info to the public.
Best Wishes,
Jo-Ann

Thanks Jo-Ann. I am just trying to understand the rules and the process and this helps me.
Best wishes to you too,
Cat

It's a dog!!!
It doesn't pay taxes!
Of course it's public info, what, are you afraid
the mutts going to sue you????
OMG!!!
I think someone stole my identity!!!!
It sounds to me that maybe>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
you maybe>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
spoil your dog, a tinnie winnie eddie bittite toooooo much,
BUT!----
I could be wrong, and all I'm saying is the info is public, cause
when you breed a dog you NEED to know it's heritage, the AKC is all
about ancestry, you know, record keeping.
When you enter a dogshow, your name, address, zip code, appear in the catalog
for a bunch of strangers to view, Oh No...................
Anyway!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!
Take great care of your GSD"s>>>>>>and keep your human info safe!!!!
