I wouldn't panic quite yet as the holiday's can get pretty crazy and hectic for a lot of folks. Then if they have gotten a lot of company out of town and such this could also be another reason why there has been limited phone communications. I know myself my office is at home and over the holidays I was put many things off; returning phone calls ect. It's not always a good thing to get so laid back over the holiday's but unfortunately a lot of people get caught up and overwhelmed then and their responsibilities get put on the back burner. I'd start to panic if you did not see any movement by the 2nd or 3rd of Jan.
Pay pal does require you to try to resolve the problem with the seller on your own first via email and phone messages. The emails are best as you can document the day and time of contact being made. And yes 30 days is their policy so unfortunately you still have some time before they will step in but I'm sure you will resolve this issue by then.

I wanted to thank you all for your advice but we heard from the breeder and it looks like she was just extremely busy after all. We'll be picking him up tomorrow she put us at ease. That was why I didn't do anything right away, I WAS nervous but all is okay. We're really excited about our new addition and want to wish everyone a very happy new year!!

Thank goodness....I was holding my breath....there are so many scams out here at Christmas time, and pay pal is a long wait to get it resolved...and a lot of headache...never buy a pup without seeing the pup...and the fact you cant ask her questions is puzzling to me...
