My heartfelt sympathy. At nearly 12 I know I will be facing losing Conni in the not-too-distant future. It never gets any easier... I really DO believe they'll be waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. Its the only way I can face losing my beloved dogs from this earth. SS

I just finished reading the book "Will My Pet Go To Heaven?" which I received at Christmass. I found it to be a very uplifting book (it was written by an expert in Old Testament Scripture). If anyone wants to know where to get a copy, PM me and I'll share the information. To be it has been the innocence, the true love and complete, total devotion to me of my GSDs which has made it so hard to lose them. They are such a blessing and such a daily treasure.

if you want to talk to others about your loss, there are many caring people to chat with at www.petloss.com. the candlelight ceremony every monday nite is very touching and you can also post a tribute to your pet in the tributes section.

My sympathies and prayers for comfort and may peace fill your heart with her many memories. Every time I hear of this, it reminds me of the loss of my very special boy 23 years ago. The pain will lessen but, that close feeling will stay with you forever. It hurts to remember what you've lost so instead, try to think of what awaits you one day when you meet again. She and all our others are waiting at Heaven's door. God Bless
