Will breeders/owners of Wallace progeny be forthcoming with negative info? I do not think so. What Vet could people ask? Who, in Germany? Will breeders in Germany who have used him say anything? I think not. IF there are health issues, they are still being passed on.
How is that betterment of the breed here and in Germany?

Hello my name is Jens Lambertus and I have to say that Wallace is still alive.
Wallace is with his breeder Leonhard Schweikert and lives in Waghäusel/Germany.
It is regrettable if dogs die caused by cancer. But you can¿t blame the father of this dogs because cancer can have many reasons(sphere where he live, feed,etc.).
And in my opinion when Tacco aus Agrigento was sold he produced puppies what is listed in the SV genetics CD. When the males get older they produced less sperm.
Wallace still produce puppies. His last litter consists out of 8 puppies.
If you look at the SV results of the last BSZS¿s you will find many dogs produced by Wallace or by his sons and daughters.
And in my opinion very important is that you will find them in open class where they have to show their bitework.
To ALLIGSD911: We know nothing about bad hearts!!
Best regards
Jens Lambertus

Regerding Tacco, he was 5 1/2 yrs old when it turned out he was steril. Probably younger than that since I am sure that is why he was sold out of Germany. Poor new owner had to find out on his own and I didn't get my breeding and the dog was to be sold off again for non-breeding purposses. 5.5 years is too early for a healthy dog to go steril.

Dawn G your absolutly right and that's the problem I have with breeders. I have a tendency to point my dogs faults out not hide them. How else will others find the "real" suitable match? Every add for puppy and dogs on this site alone are 99% TOP dogs. LOL we have that many? I would think the breed wouldn't be concidered taking a wrong turn then.
