Everybody should not own a German Shepherd, period!! Somebody is going to read this post and continue to breed soft dogs to place with this poor lady who should not have one in the first place. Does'nt make lady bad,just sounds like she needs another breed.

ok, just have to put my two cents in. I agree on educating the owner BUT some people just can't manage some dogs. If you have an over the top drivey dog and you prong it ,,,you could and probably ruin this dog for sar, or schutzhund. if training is not of interest to the owner, pet or working they have no business with a shepherd. Secondly, the best solution is to put the pup in a working home.

 

Also, my pup, obtained at 3 months was origionally sold to a working home . Before leaving the breeder this pet, runt of the litter metamorphised into a monster. She is one hell of a working dog. Breeder  did what was best for the dog..yes, pups can change,blossom what ever you weant ot call it. Not necessarily the breeders fault.
