Bi-color. I've had them, and this is what they look like at this age.

bi-color or very dark black and red. A few of our pups were borderline bi-color and black and tan, I went ahead and registered them black and tan as there was more chance of getting lighter as that was the trend for them so far. Our sables started out much lighter and got darker as they aged.

looks like he's a bi-color, My male is a bi-color but he had more tan at that age....would love to see more pics as he grows =)

I believe that the pup was 6 weeks old in that pic, I've never had a bi-color,
maybe that's why he looks different to me,here's him with sun shinning in his face
instead of his butt!
