Look at the man's boots in the picture. The sides of the soles have the same "color" from the ground or dirt.

quite honestly, i would be more concerned with his front legs than i would the color of his toenails.  i realize he is still growing, but i would not be a bit surprised if he has reoccurring bouts of panno.   joints look very similar to one of my females that suffered from panno off and on for nearly 2 yrs.

The whole "adoption" thing is straight out of Peta's and HSUS handbook. They push the idea that we are not /can not be "owners" of our animals that at best we may be a guardian. A guardian can not SELL what they do not own but can arrange for an "adoption". They have been successful enough that for example on Craig's list you are not allowed to "sell" ( Bad Dirty word!!) animals but may offer them for rehoming with an "adoption" fee. Funny how that often translates into exactly what the sale price would have been.

Any serious animal person who "adopts" this language is doing a disservice to themselves and all of us and is helping the AR movement succeed. This person needs to be confronted about the use of such language especially on this board.

Well, I clicked on the userid to send a PM and stopped to look at her other ad http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/classifieds/47632.html   and two things are clear. 1. This is NOT what I consider a serious dog person and 2. The question is where to you even start in terms of the educating. ARRGHHHHHHHHHH!

Just repeating what she was told when she bought the parents I suppose.  I wonder what happened to the other two pups?
