Sunsilver

I had to get my boy neutered due to prostate problems. I did have a friend who was on my case about getting it done, anyway, but she was very subtle and gentle about it. Considering she's spent most of her working life working in shelter work,  and eventually managing an animal shelter, I was not surprised at her nudging.

My vet keeps pressuring me to get my female neutered, and I have to keep reminding them I'm planning to show her...

It could have been one of the "PETA-esque" insufferables. In that case, it is not just about an intact male--she would rsnt about an intact bitch, too. It's just that an intact male is easier to spot :-). It could also be the breed of dog. To some staffies, pits and Ambulls are all the same thing: the dreaded pitbull terrier. :-( What you experienced was the dog-version of "The Sixth Sense:" " I see stupid people. They're everywhere." Brittany, Thank you, I'm very proud of him, I wish I could get a more recent picture of him on here, I think he gets more handsome every day! And the vet partner is female, very snobby, once told me Beckett was not a 'proper' GSD, because he's a sable! ( she likes my showline female, tho! ) but the other vet in the practice is wonderful, she's very down to earth, & my dogs love her, so we just schedule with her from now on....jackie harris
