Beware of Dog - Page 2

I like the sign;

"Forget the dog, beware of OWNER"

How about a sign that says; "We don't dial 911 at this house"!

At one of the clubs I belong to they have a sign hanging on the wall inside the clubhouse that reads..."BEWARE OF DOG...LOOSE CHILDREN WILL BE EATEN"...

You need a no tresspasse sign along with notice that you have a dog on the premises, (NO BEWARE SIGN).

Sign with a picture of a dog, German Shepherd, or somthing like that. You want them to know you have big dogs, so they go next door, also, if they do come in and get bit, you have the no trespasse and dog on premisies.

I love the crossing signs, but you want GSD, spelled out German Shepherd, only GSD fans know what that is.

If I could make up a custom sign, it would have a GSD sillhouette, and read: Dogs in Yard, Please Keep Gate Closed,( or) Please Do Not Enter.

We have signs with pictures of GSD's that say "Stop, Dogs in Yard"  One gate always locked for the dog yard. Other gate is not locked but no dog in that yard unless we are home and right there with them.  Our post office and UPS delivery people know that yard does not have lose dogs unless we are here so they are still willing to deliver to the front door.

John- Yours was a good one also as I have a similar one in the front of my house.

I was told from a legal stand point that any sign that says anything about BEWARE of dog, Security Dog, Guard Dog is all asking for a lawsuit since all of those signs indicate you either KNOW your dog will bite or your dog is TRAINED to bite.  All that is required to inform anyone anything to be cautious of is to let them know there is a dog that lives at that residence.  Could be a poodle, could be Cujo- if you wanna rob me then it's up to you to take the chance and find out what I have. lol I want folks to know I have a dog and to use common sense.  But needless to say as we see so often anytime a dog bites someone regardless if they are in the right and even behind a fence in their own yard someone is suining you and getting paid and rest assure you will have trouble.
