Rockin Ranch contacted me about my 6 month old female puppy, saw my female for sale on my site and said:
I am very interested in Demika, the 6 1/2 year old female you have available, and also, the six month old female available. What is the price for Demika? and your site says you would consider puppies back? I have Igel von der Friesenklippe, BH, AD, SchH1 German Import OFA Good. Could we work something out on one or both of these girls?

We are located in southwest Virginia, a town called Glade Spring. We currently own six GSDs and all are a part of our family. We do not have children, so we love our dogs as such. We live on 52 acres, have horses, and have a 2 acre fenced in yard for the dogs to play in. We also have heated and cooled indoor kennels for when the dogs must be kenneled.
Can you tell me more about Demika? Do you mind if I ask why you are placing her?

we have loved her and she has never had an accident in the home
she is aggressive towards my one female, but not to my other
I am only allowed to have 4 dogs as I have a home in the city limits

otherwise I was going to breed Demika or place her with a spay home
as I have my other 4 females over the past 5 yrs

While it's true, there are too many poor breeders only interested in the money, I am beginning to think the OP jumped to conclusions with regards to the intentions of these specific breeders.

That may be. But honestly, do you know how many inquiries breeders get from people wanting to know a price? (just in general here Sue, lol) If the breeder wants to sell a dog, they need to volunteer a little more information when responding than just the price. Basic information, find out what exactly the person is looking for. ALOT of initial emails start off with how much.

I skipped a heat aobut 5 months ago
I place all my dogs at around 6 yrs old
I felt she was not too old for someone to buy and have another litter from her
AKC will tell you she has only had 3 litters
I want $500 and 2- pups if she is ''local''
or $1000 out right to good home
I dont really want to mess with shipping
I have had her vac, regular parantal pomoate, heartworm, grooming, she plays and we have a kiddie pool & jumps for the dogs
she has never had any health or delivery problems
this is all i know about her

I told her I would not let my dog go out of state with out payment, I did not know who she was
it was THAN she decided to talk bad about my concerns for this dog
She had seen my puppies for sale on the site since 11-07 when she contacted me
that is the first thing you see when you click on the site, the site is where she originally saw the
6 yr old for sale, when looking at my 6 month female, she contacted me wanting to buy BOTH for breeding
sounds hypocritical to me
she never stated if she would spay the dog after breeding her
it was about getting a dog , with out haveing to pay for it , and haveing puppies
for which she is not condeming me for now
she accuses me for things which all can see in the emails that are NOT so
