Kenny: I was going to post a thread about Blackwaters' K9 unit,,,According to a few breeders, Blackwater does train and have a very prestigous training program for german shepherds or those that pass the criteria.....does anyone know a K9 handler in Blackwater or know of anyone selling this organization a german shepherd for training or working in this Company....
Kenny: did you see any K-9s in this company in Iraq....?

as far as i know blackwater primarily operates in and around the green zone, i know they do operate elsewhere in iraq, but i haven't worked with them. i did live about 50ft. from the military handlers. only worked with them 1x. i actually tried to change my job to be a dog handler for the army, no such luck! i don't think many of them take it very seriously, i only liked 1 of them, because he actually liked talking about the dogs. to most of them '' it's just a job''. well i think i'd love it !
i do know someone who has atteneded some some weapons training at blackwater and said they were very good and that he learned alot of new tactics and such there.
so like anything else. there's the good and bad.
